App Design

Event Management App

Comparative Analysis

This research was to look into other event management apps to find the pros and cons in them. For this I focused on three of the most popular in Eventbrite, Meetup, and Facebook Events.

Personas

I created these personas to find the type of user who would use an app like the one I am trying to create. That way I can get an idea how different types of Users would use this app.

Prototype

This wire frame was created to showcase my idea to have two separate sections to the app one for a user seeking to attend events and the other to organize events.

Final

For my final design I to highlight the differences between the two types of Users one being an event planner and the other an attendee. I changed the colors up slightly to symbolize these two different types of Users.

Summary: The goal of this project was to create an event app that let users customize their interests and find events to attend while also creating a easy to make event system for planners.

Challenges: Finding what the other apps lacked, an easy layout while covering all basis, color coding

Design Process: Research, personas & User flow, wire frame, High Fidelity Wireframe, Final

Personas & User flow: The personas were made with the intention of covering multiple types of users. two attendees looking for different things and one event planner. The User flows were to plan on how the personas would go about maneuvering my design

User feedback: I received feedback through from fellow students and instructor to help lead me down a design that wasn’t complicated while delivering a professional design.

Final Design Visuals: The final design focuses on having a party feel with the color palette and have the colors shift between an event organizer and an attendee of one. I wanted to focus on everything being as interactive as possible to make the app as engaging as I can.

Task Management App

Comparative Analysis

Compared three popular task managing apps and checked to see what people liked and disliked about each so I can create a better product.

Userflow

Userflow for the app that is easy to follow and three personas user flows to look at the app from different perspectives.

Prototype

With this wire frame I created the base layout of the app. I wanted to introduce an app concept that allowed the users and their teams to utilize any style of project management they prefer.

Final

With this final I wanted to use a clean and professional style to create an app that works well with all types of teams and showcase a general idea of the pages look when in practice.

Summary: With this app I wanted to create a project management app that could be used by any team and give them the freedom to set it up how they want.

Design Process: User Flow, Prototype, Final product

Prototype: I wanted to showcase a simple navigation system and create an easy to use workflow app.

Final Design: I chose a simple color scheme and kept to a simple navigation to make the app easy to understand and easy to find what the user will need for their team.

Web Design

Made In Divi

I was tasked with building a template in the theme Divi to create a layout where a user can put their information and photos in For this, I was limited on the data and pictures to use, which is why there are repeated ones, but I used my skills to create an aesthetic design.

Class Project

This was a group project created for one of the professors at my college. She is an Earth Science teacher, and she wanted a blog she can use to update her students and followers. This project taught me the importance of teamwork and communication in the workplace.
